Make A Joyful Noise Unto The Lord  Psalms 100

Proverbs 8:9-13

They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

After thirty five years flying and managing private jet aircraft and never playing or building drums I was inspired to build my very first cajon. While hosting a weekly men’s gathering in my home, someone would bring a guitar to lead us in song, I thought it would be nice to have a cajon to accompany the guitarist so I started studying cajon drums.

In my high school years I worked in a cabinet shop and fell in love with wood work. Since that time I had collected many wood working tools so the task of building my first drum came naturally. My first drum was ok but not at the level I had expected or wanted. The second was far better with far superior features creating better tones while adding a padded seat for comfort. As I studied cajon history I noticed that there were very little advancements in design. My first improvement was the use of a real drum snare that was easily adjustable by a lever located in the back of the drum. I had noticed that most cajon players tilted the drum back to play and thought there must be a way to use that action to turn the snare on and off.

Many prayers went forth asking for direction on building a drum with innovations and sounds that percussionist today had not experienced.  With the help of our Heavenly Father we have discovered and built a unique and comfortable drum with sounds and tones like no other drum in the world.

Since those early days we have been awarded three US Patents for our innovations in our drums. Not only do they sound amazing but the quality of the workmanship and finish is second to none and we give Him all the glory thus the name Kingdom Kajon.

Our heart is that you discover what the Father has for each of you and that witty invention are in your near future.

Blessings,

Daniel
